Somani's being Marwadi & Maheshwari, are business oriented and we are known for our trust, ethics and transparency in our business. Great Grandfather of Mr. Dhruv Somani, "Sw. Seth Shri Madanlal Ji Somani" was a textile merchant in soyatkalan, a small village near Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan border in Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Later he shut his business of textile merchant, and entered into the business of grains trading and gold-silver trading.

After Sw. Seth Shri Madanlal Ji Somani, his son and grandfather of Mr. Dhruv Somani, "Shri Surajkaran Ji Somani" joined the business. He did very hardwork for scaling up the business, for which he started his involvement in business at a very early age of thirteen. With his dedication and perseverance he revolutionarily expanded the business. Grains trading was the primary business. Later he established Cotton Ginning Mill in 1978 and then Oil Mill in 1992. With his hardwork he became landlord and rented shops, godowns and showrooms for commercial puposes. He also attained the title of "Marwadi Seth" from the village people. He was known for his CSR activities in the village.

Later Shri Surajkaran Ji Somani came to Indore were his son and father of Mr. Dhruv Somani, "Mr. Braj Mohan Somani", completed his studies and started his career. Shri Surajkaran Ji Somani also laid the foundation of Marwadi Filling Station in Soyatkalan and he also operated the distributorship of Suruchi company of Nagpur with his sons in Indore. Mr. Braj Somani, moved on his father footprints and did the buisness on his own. He operated the sandstone mines in Ganj Basoda, Madhya Pradesh and also did the sandstone trading. He left the sandstone business and entered into financial advising and real estate business.

Father-Son duo Mr. Braj Mohan Somani & Mr. Dhruv Somani decided to take their family name one step ahead in business and for which they laid the foundation of Somani Imports And Exports at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Our belief is to grow with goodness.
